Tutoring with EmpowerEd helps your child to follow the key learning areas for their learning group but with YOUR CHILD'S NEEDS in mind. We are here to fill the gaps and EMPOWER your child to 'Find their Shine' in Literacy. We dive deep into each section of the curriculum to provide a detailed and tailored learning experience.

Following your Meet and Greet with Chloe, you will be provided with an Individualised Learning Plan focused on these three areas and they can be covered thoroughly within the services we provide here at EmpowerEd.

FREE 30 Minute Meet and Greet

At EmpowerEd children and families of children learning at grades Prep - 6 are invited to meet Chloe, an experienced Literacy teacher, for a Meet and Greet. This initial session helps you get to know Chloe and what she provides. Your child will play games, ask/answer questions and be encouraged to showcase their fantastic skills. After this, an individualised learning plan will be created based on your child's areas of need. The Learning Plan will underpin each session your child books onto.

Hi, I'm Chloe.

I am a Certified Teacher and an Online Literacy Tutor here at EmpowerEd. My vision for creating this inclusive space has stemmed from my desire to make a difference in education whilst allowing children to flourish in a way that is truly unique to them through tailored and individualised learning plans. I can adapt my plans for all students, with a strong focus on neurodiverse and home-school children.

With a First Class Honours degree in English Language and Linguistics (with my dissertation topic being on the language of children with autism), I further honed my skills through my Postgraduate Certificate in Primary Education and I have experience as a class teacher in grades throughout the primary years, secondary special needs school and online. I hold a valid Queensland Teacher Registration, Disability Worker Card, Level 3 TEFL (Teaching English as a Foreign Language) certificate and a Working with Children Check (WWCC).
